Show and talk about some documents from your past such as a baby book, a school report or award, a certificate or photographs.
Ask students: 'Why are these documents important?'
Select 'How do people change?' and watch and discuss the slide show about Ann.
Listen to her story and the descriptions of each photograph. Ask students questions such as 'How have the photographs helped Ann retell her story?' or, 'How have they helped you learn more about her?'
